We would like to know if they are blocking plain http requests with certain user agents, in particular the user agent "LFS".

More information: The game "Live for Speed" makes plain http requests with user agent "LFS" for in-game downloads from the domain "lfs.net" which is a legitimate, low volume use of your internet connection and should be allowed

It takes a long time to connect to the server. Mods. doesn't appear in the garage or it takes a long time to load. What could it be?

What are you seeing thsi issue on and do you have Sky Broadband?

Phoning Sky is the only realistic option, but frankly at this time on a weekend (and given the nature of your enquiry) I'd be very surprised if you got anywhere with that.
