2 Sky broadbands in same house

Is it possible to have 2 Sky broadbands in the same house ? I am moving house but on hold for up to 6 months and don't want to cancel my broadband when staying with another person as I'm vip diamond subscriber and don't want to lose it.

@Rosie113 No , you can have more than one internet connection but not from the same provider

@Rosie113 You best talk to sky about it, your leaving house will need to be cancelled as no doubt the new people will wish to have BB installed, but you cannot have BB twice at the same address!

Technically it's possible (and some people choose to do so for additional resilience), but service cannot be from the same ISP. It's also really important to emphasize when ordering that this is an additional circuit, not a switch.
