No streaming on tv

I am a new sky user and have just had sky home broadband installed, but I am unable to use the app on my smart tv , e.g. iplayer, its x, 4, 5,.

Tv is connected via WiFi and says good signal strength.

But I can't call up any of the programs from the aps to play.

As both my wife and I are disabled pensioners I would like some advice.

Does it bring up an error message when you try to ?

It tells me to check Internet connection.

Tv says wifi is good with fast signal.

Speed check said broadband too slow.
