I have read in this forum about people who have had problems with the hive hub not connecting to the internet. Are sky sorting something out as they don't appear to answer any questions regarding hive.

Hello @T0936-pet01

We have a Hive hub to control our boiler and several home plugs. I moved to Sky from TalkTalk in August and have had no issues with the Hive hub disconnecting or not connecting to the internet. The Hive app smoothly connects to the hub when used on both my wife's and my phone.

My configuration is slightly odd in that I have an Eero mesh system, with an Eero router connected to my Sky Broadband router (black but not the Max which seems to have a few issues connecting to older hardware from the posts I've seen on here). Wifi is therefore delivered via the Eero mesh and Sky wifi disabled (this isn't as complicated as it may sound and ensures wifi is available throughout our bungalow which the Sky router cannot provide).

My Hive hub is hard wired to an Eero router butcould have just as easily been connected directly to the Sky hub.

I had fibre broadband installed last week and my Hive stopped working. I've been through all the steps from Hive and Sky technical support told me today on the phone it's a common issue with Hives and other devices due to a connectivity issue. They've said there's nothing they can do. I can't even go back to my original connection apparently so I'm stuck with how to get Hive to work now.
Ive raised a complaint with Sky as they should not be selling their products without advising the consumer it may not be compatible with existing devices. It's underhanded and I wouldn't have "upgraded" if I'd known I could potentially lose control of my heating system

Absolutely no idea where to go next on this?

Is the hive Hub connected direct on one off the sky Hub's Ethernet ports?
