Question for Sky people 🙂 Is there a backend option for switching off wifi optimisation on my router - not something accessible via router menu etc?

What exactly about the WiFi Optimisation are you not wanting to happen? As far as I know Sky hubs just auto channel switch, not a lot else goes on.

Answering with the same statement of 'I want the WiFi optimisation disabled' after being asked for further clarification on what exactly you mean by that or what issue you are specifically having really isnt helpful. If you provide more context the forum might be able to help.

@CB666 if you are wanting or needing greater control re your network I think you will have to purchase your own hub/ router/ mesh.

I suspect most hubs supplied by major ISPs are locked to some degree & level.

I use Asus and they have so many customisable features it can give you a headache 😄

Even in Access Point mode (which disables many features) there are still plenty of features I can adjust.
