My Apple TV, and Sky puck are connected using ethernet cables.

The Apple TV in the cabinet always records speeds of 850+ down and 90+ up.

In the first floor bedroom/home office, where my partner and I work- we always get speeds of 400+ down and 90+ up connecting our computers to the XT9 with ethernet cables.

For the third floor I use an old dual band Asus AC58U router so my partner can watch TV upstairs in her hobby room. Speeds up there are 150+ down and 70+ up.

I have just had a sky rep at my address and I was told I would be able to get 3 free boosters as my address is a new build and horrendous for signal. I work from home so I need the internet to be as good as possible. I have already purchased a booster but I have been having issues.

Perhaps be aware that neither living in a new build or WFH is relevant, and it would be misleading of a contact centre person to imply they were.

An initial booster is claimable under the terms of the 'Enhanced Wall to Wall WiFi Guarantee' as long as the WiFi Max subscription supplement is on the broadband account, and potentially up to two more fitted during a subsequent installer visit.

This is not to say Sky's WiFi boosters won't meet your needs, but I believe (stand to be corrected) that they are wireless repeaters. A mesh network should be better.

There are many brands to choose from, with many being very easy to set up and use.

A screenshot of my home network shows 52 devices connected. What it does not show are the speeds, which is fast in every room in my 3 storey home

Home network 3 storey house
