90MBPS cap

Evening all

Was previosuly with VM 500MB package, cancelled in the end due to price hikes.

Had a full install from sky, same package as before latest hub. My 500mb connection is now been capped at 90mb at the PC

Spent hours with sky testing all sorts, new ethernet cables, resetting network settings on pc, resetting the hub and BTOR box.

Was then told to monitor it for a week and its still the same. Anything on wifi is getting near the 500mb

Cat6E ethernet cable, same pc, same setup as when i was on VM and now its been capped to 90mb?

Spoke to technical today again., said leave the router off for an hour, still nothing.

If i would of known i would of been capped for the ethernet i would of gone elsewhere.

Seen posts of people saying sky changed something backend and its solved it. Ive literally tried everything, Even new top of the range ethernet cables. Switching off skygaurd.

Any help would be much appreciated.

@vincent1985 What Ethernet is in your PC, it is a 1Gb/s interface, does the PC also run windows, if so have a right click down on the Network icon goto properties and see that it shows you 1000/1000 for the sync!

If your wi-fi is reporting 500Mb/s then the sky hub is running 1Gb/s speed connected on Port4 WAN connection to the ONT lan port.
