Switching from BT Landline to Sky

I have been a Sky customer for 20yrs. I have Sky TV and Sky Broadband but not Sky Talk. My router is black colour and Broadband and TV works off my BT landline. My contract with BT has just ended so I want to switch the landline to Sky as I do not use it for making telephone calls and only receive an occasional incoming call. How can I arrange to have it switched to Sky please? I am a techno thicky so please make your answers simple. I do not have fibre optic as an alternative.

@AngelaLongsdan Do you say that BT has the telephone line for calls, and sky has the broadband only on that exact same line, you are paying X for the phone and Y for the broadband doubling your cost's?

Or you have two seperate phone lines to the one property as that can be tha case!

Sky uses b t phone lines for broadband and phones mostly they do use city fibre as well if they are in your area
