Something fell on my socket and has cracked it exposing the electrical wires. Will sky replace this?

@Kathryn37 Is this broken master socket causing your internet to disconnect or is it completly broken and you have no dial tone on the line?

Everything is still working but dust will get into the box if I don't replace it.

@Kathryn37 As long as it is the front plate assembly they are just very easy to replace you will see from the pictures, removing is just below the centre about 1" from the bottom squeeze both sides and pull off, replace by just pushing back into place with the new one!

It's the back plate that's broken with all the wires showing.

@Kathryn37 Would be this part and there are only two wires used and are also very easily changed with a simple connection method.

5c Master socket back plate connections are on the back for the two wires that are used!

Below back of the 5c Master socket two connection point top rhs push / lift cable entry marked A and B..

I have the same issue - a picture fell off it's nail last night - and landed on the master socket - ripping it off the wall.

Did the replacement suggested by Jim work for you?

@snooza If it did not break parts off it just screw it back on the wall!
