Hi Jim,

I certainly didn't trust the app as I had no internet connection.

I eventually managed to find a phone number and speak to someone, unfortunately english was not their first language and I found it really difficult to understand them. After going through the usual unplug it, plug it back in, disconnect the cables, re-connect the cables, press the reset button (all of which I had already done but you have to follow their crib sheet through) they eventually decided it needed an Openreach engineer to look at it.

The following day it sprung back into life in the middle of the afternoon (Sunday, I wasn't expecting anything to happen until Monday) so all is well again now. I have to say that the Sky service is very reliable usually and this is the first outage in about 6 or 7 years so can't complain really 😊
