@Saffy4 without giving exact details what kind of adult sites can it access and is it via apps or through a browser? The way a filter like this works is by looking at DNS requests which is the system of address look up the internet uses. It is quite effective but if the app does not use DNS it doesn't work so You Tube and apps like Facebook can show material that you may consider should be filtered. If the device has a public DNS address that will bypass the filter as will use of a VPN although most VPNs should not load.

Sky use a third party company to manage the shield who can be contacted via the email, address on this page https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-broadband-shield-sites-not-filtering-correctly

I've realised my broadband shield isn't working. I have teens and so I want it set to the teen thing, no adult content available. But I've tested it and even though it's activated and set to the right things it's allowing adult content.

Just to add, I am not a new customer, as in it's been longer than 24/48 hours since my broadband shield has been activated and turned on. It's just I've only just realised it isn't working.

It's set up correctly. It has the filters set on how I want them to be set. It's just not working, I can access the things I don't want anyone to be able to access. It's an actual issue with broadband shield in this case, not user error. It is not shielding out ALL aspects of pornography or dating sites etc.
