topic Broadband Out Again. in Broadband

This situation is becoming ridiculous. I am experiencing intermittent broadband outages throughout the day, lasting anywhere from a few minutes to several hours. The broadband checker often indicates a fault, only to switch to "no issues" within seconds, even though my connection is still down. I find myself constantly resetting my router in an attempt to restore the connection, but it only lasts a short time before going out again. This has been happening almost every day for the past two weeks. As a result, my home alarm is running on backup power due to the lack of a stable connection. If anyone has any suggestions or can offer help, I would greatly appreciate it.

@Spocksavulcan

The checker looks for faults in your area so have you run this line test instead:

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start

You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.

After this has finished and if it reports back all is good click on broadband to run an updated test. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.

If this is of no help give Sky a call to report it to them.
