Sticking it next to an outside wall, and not in a central position completely changes the dynamic of the wireless wi-fi signal! Also say if you reply did you change the sky hub ie, from the Black to the White?

The connection issues upstairs since changing to fibre are not good and keeps cutting off. This is where I complete my work ( I work for the nhs so need internet access ) my sons do their homework and use their devices. Their phones ( that are also with sky ) in particular keep going off WiFi. We have not long had fibre so I don't understand why this is happening

You can call sky and ask for a booster to help with the wifi signal

If you have full fibre broadband to the property and you want to move the hub you will need to buy a longer ethernet cable, is your broadband box like this
