Hello,

I have been experiencing a drop in my internet speed from 23Mb to just 13Mb for over a month now, and despite following all the diagnostic and troubleshooting steps recommended by Sky, the issue remains exactly the same.

I have run multiple tests, including those on Sky's own website, and all of them indicate that there is a problem with my connection and the device/modem provided by Sky. However, when I contacted support, they simply told me that "no faults were detected on my line" and redirected me once again to the same troubleshooting steps that I have already tried countless times.

At this point, I am paying for a service that is not being delivered as promised, and I am not receiving any real assistance. Has anyone else experienced this issue? How did you get Sky to take action?

I would appreciate any advice or help, because right now, I feel like I am being ignored.

Thank you.

My engineer said no problems with the cables and full speed to his computer, he said my router is old and that's probably where the problem lies.

I was coming out of contract in August and was debating switching providers after 25 yrs with sky..as my speeds have been really slow..rang sky to say I wish to leave as not getting the speed i pay for... inc sky boost ..open reach sent out ..checked both internal line changed socket front, checked external line down the road still no change..cut long story short ..3x open reach enginers , 4 visits from sky enginers, new hub, new sky booster and ive lost count the hours spent on the phone with customer services to resolve the issue .( did receive discount for Aug ). and still not resolved I will be calling again today before they take the next payment .If I refused to pay id be cut off without hesitation ..yet they get to string me out for weeks /months knowing I have not received what I pay for ..

If you have a bad line into your property then you will never get what you expect, and the range is so-so, line may just be sacrificing speed for stability that is how the system all works, lower your speed but give you a good consistant internet!

How to read your Sky Hub statistics
