Potential Router Problems - BT Email

Hello, I believe I have a problem with my wifi/broadband. Some websites do not load and I have a problem sending emails - they just sit in my outbox. Last night I tried sending an email that sat in my outbox and I visited my daughter's home who lives less than 100m away and also a Sky Broadband customer and the email sent straight away. I believe I have some problem possibly with my router can you please advise? I've tested the line and all the green lights are on the router but there is defintely something a miss. Tried to do online help with Sky but got nowhere.

This is a long shot but have you tried adjusting your broadband shield settings.
