Possible that if a FW update was pushed to the hub that it went back to its defaults!

I set my Sky Max Hub to WPA2, mainly because its all that my IP cameras support.

Yesterday, the router set itself back to WPA3-T on its own, causing all my devices to lose connection.

Is there a reason that happens? I had to forget wifi connection and reconnect most of my devices due to this which was frustrating.
