    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/4639"&gt;@Mark39&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp; Thanks for your reply.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My BT contract expires on the 5th November so I wanted to know when I should apply to subscribe to&amp;nbsp; Sky if I do decide to.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If I do subscribe will I get a new account to replace the one I had year ago but which stil seems to be active.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I was with Sky until a few years ago &amp;amp; I'm thinking of rejoining for a broadband &amp;amp; digital phine package.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;However, I need to speak to someone but when I phone a message tells me my phone number doesn't link to my account which of course it won't.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm signed into my account &amp;amp; I tried to access my details to update my details but I just get a blank screen apart from the header.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This is not a good way for Sky to convince me I should rejoin.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Two weeks notice is required to join Sky although it can take longer than that due the availability of an Openreach engineer.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You will have a new Sky account when rejoining so when you do rejoin you can't use your old Sky ID as that will have been closed so you would need to create a new one. If you want to use the same email address it will need removing from your old account first.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;1. If you're joining Sky for a full fibre broadband service, and you don't have full fibre with BT at the moment, it may take considerably longer than the usual 2 weeks for your Sky service to be up and running&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;2. If the phone you're currently using is designed to work with BT's Digita. Voice service, it won't be compatible with Sky's landline service and will need to be replaced.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I connected the BT hub to the master socket which made all the telephone sockets live.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I've subscribed to a Sky Broadband 900Mbps + unlimited Sky Talk package &amp;amp; it will be activated on the 4th November.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;BT have confirmed that my existing phone number has been requested &amp;amp; I've confirmed that I requested the transfer.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When I receive the Sky Max Router I'll get it set up in readiness for the 4th November so on that day it'll be a matter of plugging in the ONT CAT cable &amp;amp; the phone cable into the Sky Max router.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;That's the theory.&amp;nbsp;&lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":beaming_face_with_smiling_eyes:"&gt;😁&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
