@CurtisFamily you have not said what your connection speed is or which boosters you have bought or indeed which Sky hub you have all of which is relevant. Ideally you buy a matched system so the router and boosters work together as unmatched units using the same of adjacent WiFi channels will interfere one with the other. Therefore you either need a system matched to your Sky hub or switch off its wifi and use a third party system. The satellite units need a decent back haul connection to the hub to give a boost to speeds.

Sky issue two different hubs these days both of which require matched boosters. The older black type of hub which is compatable with the Sky Q TV boxes which themselves act as wifi boosters and a dedicated booster the SE210 which looks like a white version of the hub. The second type is the newer white Sky Max hub which works with the matched extender pods Sky can issue as part of the WiFi Max package..

I bought a relatively cheap 3 unit Deco system which has one unit connected to my Sky hub by ethernet which provides speeds over 150Mb/s in every room in my 3 level home with 500Mb/s in my main living area. Speeds around 50Mb/s are perfectly usable for most purposes such as streaming video, gaming and business use assuming you are not routinely handling huge files.

Hi,

inha e bought additional booster for each floor of my property as the signal was terrible. Now I'm getting 47.9mbps download and 47.2 upload?

can someone please explain why it's so bad and I'm paying a fortune for additional cover?
