&lt;P&gt;The box isn't necessarily relevant: as I said, it's changing the broadband service which triggers the switch from analogue to digital voice service, not the other way round.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Given PSTN is due to be retired nationally in January 2027, ISPs are going to have to be more proactive with their customers.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If there's already&amp;nbsp; a Sky Hub with a telephone socket at the address (Broadband Hub, Max Hub or Gigafast+ Hub) then this switch can be handled remotely apart from the customer plugging their handset into the rear of the router rather than a wall socket.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;No, and it's the other way round anyway: changing the broadband technology (switching ISP, upgrade speed or moving to an optical circuit) which causes the voice service to be migrated from analogue to digital (technically VoIP) automatically.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
