topic Xbox one not connecting in Broadband

I have Sky for broadband. I just signed up for another 2 years. The router is about 2 ft away from the console and has always been this way. For some reason the Xbox one is no longer connecting to the WiFi.

In the sky app it says connected.

I have tried looking in the shield bit of the app and gaming is not blocked.

This is driving me nuts now. It has only been like this for a week. I feel I have tried all channels of possibilities. Please help.

@AJTeee the loss of connection wont be caused bybtge new contract. Reboot the xbox which should work but if it doesn't go into the console's settings to see why it isnt connecting.

If the console is literally 2 feet from the hub why bithercwith wifi why nit just use a short Ethernet cable to connect thectwo which is far more reliable?

I cant permanently use a cable to connect to WiFi because it goes across the doorway to front door. Ive tried rebooting. Still not connecting

My boyfriend will try with a different WiFi connection at his house today. Trying this to rule out Sky problem.
