Unable to connect to work server

This is a weird one I cannot resolve so hoping to get some advice .

I had sky fibre open reach replaced by sky 500 with city fibre everything has been fine can see the difference in speed no issues with connections phones , tv , iPads , fire sticks .

A couple weeks ago my work laptop started to blocking joining my work server the internet connection doesn’t automatically connect so it’s disconnected- forget - re type password then attempt to log in , it would normally allow me access my work said it was an issue with Cisco on their end, Friday was the worst 730am I attempted to log in I eventually got into my laptop virtual at 1.45pm after taken the laptops into the office getting new laptops and back home. I reset my router and unplugged which seemed to do the trick , but today I have attempted to log in and I am getting the cannot connect to server.

I spent over an hour on the phone to Sky on Friday who told me it’s not their end , Sky shield is not on there is no blocks , everything else is working absolutely fine in the house and said it would be a VPN or security on my work laptop .

Today I went and bought a Ethernet cable I connect it and try and log in to the virtual still saying unable to connect to server , I head to edge and I am able to type in a website for example I type in Wikipedia it comes up on the search then I click into Wikipedia then I get a DNS error.

It has me puzzled

Sky are saying it’s not them as everything else is working perfect in the house

I have been able to get on the internet but not onto a website fully mentioning DNS and server error, when I try log into my work virtual Makes me think it’s my work issue

But

I can get onto my work virtual with my hotspot from my phone , which then makes me think it could be something to do with my internet provider if it’s allowing my phone to connect 🤔

Very weird I work 4 days a week 2 in office 2 at home I am needing this resolved as I am unable to work 4 days a week in the office.

This drama with my connection began a fortnight ago in the office at work couldn’t connect to server error, following days Tuesday and Thursday at home issue Friday in office fine

Tuesday this week in house I got on Thursday office fine Friday 5 hrs attempting to get on then resorting to reset and unplug .

It’s so strange when I log into the laptop the WiFi just drops doesn’t stay connected to the laptop

this afternoon I have logged on and it's connected to WIFI I can go on bbc Wikipedia stv websites but it won't allow me on websites like Nando's when I have tested it .

Any help I will be appreciated
