Hello,

I'm interested in signing up to Sky for a resedential broadband.

I let out two spare rooms in my home on Airbnb, so I have guests staying in part of my home, and I intend to set up broadband that they can use and that I can use.

Does SKY routers have the capability to block certain users from an app and set up guest networks or allow only certain MAC addresses to connect?

Can third party's also report faults to Sky?

does sky also provide free WiFi boosters?

I would appreciate any advice the community may be able to give me to see if sky would be good for me.

thank you

@Marcel84737 first point using a Sky domestic broadnand connection for anything other than forvthe "private use of you and your household" is against the contract. See p7 ofvthis document https://static.skyassets.com/contentstack/assets/blt7f2b03fd02c7fe60/bltc2bb2eb831b81a73/684a9ac1fc233037b4bfd722/download?disposition=inline

Sky hubs do not offer guest network or mac filtering so there is no way to prevent your "guests" from having full access to the network . Easiest way to do that would be to by a third party wifi system like TP-Link Deco connect that to the hub by ethernet and run it is access point mode which does allow a guest network.
