topic new sky max hub making ticking noise in Broadband

Recently I got a new sky max hub installed, less than a month later began a small ticking noise similar to a clock. There are no metals around the hub causing disturbances. I called sky about this and they said they would send us a new replacement and exchange the old one back. The replacement also makes the same ticking noise.

Both hub's wifi function works fine but this ticking noise is worrying.

Sky's customer service said the hub should be silent, does anyone know the reason for this?

Its been reported before, (use the search box at the top of the broadband page and put in the word ticking). Replies suggest you can ignore it if it's not too annoying .
