Lag on other devices when Downloading

Hi,

I have a 500mb connection, and if i download a file - all my other devices start to buffer/lag

e.g PS5 and SKY Q

Example, downloading a file - speed can be around 20mb/s

I end up having to limit the bandwidth on the download

Is that normal? I though 500mb could easier handle simultaneous connections

@azza19892 depends on the speed of the download if that is running near 500Mb/s it will use the available bandwidth. Sky hubs do not have any way of limiting bandwidth given to one device.

Schedule large downloadscto run at times you do not need to use other devices. Sky havecintroducedca way to prioritise one device to Sky WiFi Max package see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max-prioritise-a-device which could help.
