Thanks for your reply but has you can see from my post we were informed of new connection date of 21st so it wasn't a problem for two days without no connection but now it's 10 days which means we can't use our sky package which we are paying for. I'm looking for a solution to cover the 10 days cross over should anyone else of had this problem Thanks

New broadband connection

We were told 21/08/25 for new connection of broadband but now I see it's changed to first available connection from openreach 29/08/25. Our old internet ended today 19/08/25 so we have 10 days to wait with no internet. Without internet connection we can't watch our sky package either so paying for this for nothing. Is there anything that can be done to speed this up ? Really feel like cancelling this new connection and looking elsewhere.

Cancel if you wish you just go back in time with it all!

Yes I was an old customer with Sky and my contract ended on the 19th. My son has taken a new contract for broadband with sky based on connection on the 21st but they moved date to 29th
