Just thought i would post this again, as i have been having problems for the last week

So about a week ago me and my wifes mobile phones started to not be able to connect to WhatApp, and sites like Facebook andInstagram were either loading very slowly, or not at all

Anyone coming to our house and using our Wifi also had the same problems

Also Google had put the "safe search mode" in place, and told me i couldnt change this as it was controlled by an admi, or by an internet service provider.

For the last week i have been doing speed tests, router resets etc etc to no avail

Then i found a post from last year regarding Sky Broadband Shield

Basically if you go to the MySky APP, click on Broadband on the bottom icon

Then click Product Settings , then Broadband Shield, and see which "setting" the blue dot is against..

Mine was against the top setting which is "custom"

I have no idea why this was the case (unless Sky had done some upgrade or install re safe web surfing), but this was the reason for all m problems

To fix the issues just press the circle next to "disable shield" (it already has an x in a circle next to it but you need to press the clear 0 to put the blue dot in it) and bingo, problem fixed..

So hope this helps if you have been experiencing the frustrations of
