Hi I was told that the WiFi signal would be strong at 75 meters through floors and walls and would reach the end of my garden about 35m away. It seems to totally give out after about 10. How do I increase the strength?

Told by whom? Hugely optimistic I would say.

City fibre. They told me it didn't matter where I put my hub because the signal would be so good. They ended up putting it in the easiest place for them to drill through the wall!

You'd be the first to report to this forum on Sky broadband over CityFibre so I'm afraid we can't really comment, although I'd agree with @Sharcuk that those do seem highly optimistic (if not downright unlikely) figures: I don't think any known Sky Hub is going to reach anything like that far, although we don't know about the brand new one yet.

There's no way to 'increase the strength' of an individual wireless device because maximum power output is regulated by law.
