You're Full Fibre-ready offer message

I have received a WhatsApp and text message from Sky offering me the chance to upgrade to Full Fibre 100 at no extra cost and with no change to my broadband contract. I have noticed that further down it says 'prices may vary out of contract'.

So is upgrading to Fill Fibre free or not? And if it is has anyone else got it? What is it like it? Is it worth it?

I'm currently on Sky Broadband Superfast and it's fine for what I need.

@Highlinder Yes my contract doesn't expire until March 2027.

@FullLoader Your contract if they are saying will stay the same then you can go for it. Out of contrat price is when the discount is taken away and you pay the standard price.

@FullLoader that seems quite clear the contract price remains the same. The only issue would be if you are out of contract.

Free to upgrade, with a price increase at the end of the ongoing minimum term unless renegotiated (as would happen anyway)

FTTP is now available at over 50% of UK addresses so millions of people are using it. The big advantage (apart from speed) is that fibre-optic isn't subject to many of the potential faults which affect copper circuits

Hi All !

Just had one of these text messages myself along with a date for a booked engineer. For various reasons I do not want to accept the "upgrade". However despite the text message stateing "to proceed click Yes, to opt out click no" However I can not find any yes or no options to click ! am I missing something ???

Any help much appreciated. Many Thanks !
