Currently im on regular copper getting 55mbps, looking to get fttp and im getting a call friday to discuss it, as I aslo have a bad connection the hub which is getting fixed in the next couple days first

So it dosent seem to be as easy as it is now for me to split the bands to 2.4ghz 5ghz, and that im going to need a 3rd party router, and either replacing the new sky hub completely(which i don't really want to do unless necessary) or using the 3rd party router as an acces point, and i cant turn the new hub into a modem only?(called bridging ?)and this router seems to be one i can use? The Asus RT-AX58u

I need the 2.4ghz for my smart devices but I also game, stream 4k videos etc, there are multiple pcs xboxs phones tablets in the house

some advice/guidance would be appreciated 👏
