Recently upgraded to Sky WiFi Max but signal strength in some rooms non existent. Have tried all aspects of the website to find out how to request boosters but cannot find any answers. Bot does not cover it, diagnostic thinks there is no problem and customer services options on the phone don't cover it either. No ability to actually talk to someone about it. Can anyone recommend what to do next to get help??

I have escalated your post to Sky so you can chat with them and request a booster. Look out for a message on the forum

The sky team were great yesterday sorting out a booster for home wifi. Unfortunately it still does not provide cover for the whole house. I was told in the chat yesterday to get back in touch via the community for further support but I cannot find any record of the chat yesterday. I therefore appeal again for help from sky to pick this up and refer me to someone who can help. Seems really odd that I cannot message someone directly about it as a follow up to a previous conversation. 😒

WHere is the router in relation to your house? Central or on the edge somewhere?

Same question for the pod you have installed

The router is in a downstairs room - not in a cupboard. The wifi does not reach very far from the hub and with the booster only about 12 feet away fails to bridge to the next room. The light on the pod is off most of the time but I can see in dropping out.
