If I sign up for full fibre now but it's not installed until August 11 will I be charged from now or installation date ? And is there any drilling involved as I rent my house ?

Not obviously as I am not a sky engineer or a full fibre expert so I wouldn't have a clue . So thanks for being so helpful to a genuine question I'll go to a helpful company for my new fibre broadband

@Tricky427 You will not be billed for a service until it is started. If you don't have an ONT already installed on the property then drilling will need to happen.

Typically full fibre requires both external work (including trenching for underground delivery if there's no duct), drilling through a wall and attaching a new box inside.

Landlords should really be keen to permit this because high speed internet can increase the rental value of the property.

Worth pointing out that if its Openreach* who install then they'll want to see permission from the landlord before they commence. This is a fairly recent development.

*if its Kelly/Morrison/etc then they won't care
