Stay on the line as long as possible and saying nothing when asked the reason for the call sometimes helps being put in the queue for an agent.

My hub stopped powering on Thursday eveing, contacted Sky and they insisted an engineer needs to come out. Explained it was the hub not working, and why they can't just send a new hub, and they said 'an engineer needs to come out'. Finally engineer (BT open reach) came out today to say all is ok and its the hub thats the problem and Sky needs to send a new hub. I cannot speak to sky boadband to ask them to send new hub, its keeps taking me through the automated service - so frustrating - its a joke.
