If a Sky WiFi booster is too far away from the router to connect, can it be connected via a long Ethernet cable and will that work to transmit WIFI?

Needed in a new summerhouse at end of garden. Duct ready for electrical cable to be installed so can run Ethernet through at same time.

That would be a wise thing to do in any circumstances.

@Jwgreen potentially most Sky boosters will operate as an ethernet to wifi bridge. The exception are some SE210boosters issued from late 2020 which lack an ethernet port. In practice Sky wint provide booster for use in a garden room as part of the WiFi Max or Booster schemes as they only cover rooms in your home.

In practice any third party WiFi access point will work assuming it has an ethernet port and interference with Sky WiFi in uour home should not be an issue.
