topic Dropping - losing internet connection in Broadband

Hi, my sky connection keeps dropping. The home set up is poor, with the hub located in a corner on the ground, on a short cable so it cant be better positioned. The tech said that was as good as he could do as the line from the street comes in there...I am told that this is possibly the reason for the bad connection. Can anyone advise on this please as it is causing issues.

@MrVespa Will not be helping in the slightest, longer Ethernet cable or DSL that plugs in will get it off the floor, that is your number 1 priority, so take care of that first, will not solve everything but at least it is a start! Engineers just slam dunk the install, that is what they need to do, you get left with all the issues after that!

You do not say so if more information is required, then you need to say what/how/and why.
