I'm on the Sky Broadband 150 plan. It's fast on speed check, about 126- 130 Mbps, but very slow when you try to download something, about 500kbps to 17 Mbps. I have 5 devices connected, and I'm sitting about 6 feet from the router. This poor download speed is regardless of where I'm downloading. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Jim

Have you tried running the line test here to see if any faults are found:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start

You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.

After this has finished and if it reports back all is good click on broadband to run an updated test. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.

If this is of no help give Sky a call to report it to them.

@tcbflyr12 Mac i know nothing about apart from it is a fruit, MY Samsung A54 is in the toilet more than it works, when it gradually starts to slow down, AND it is ONLY on the download AND ONLY this stupid phone, the wifes A32 is great, then the average download it hits is 12Mb/s on a FF500 sky feed, switch the wi-fi off and back on again on the mobile it springs straight back up to the full connection and if i speed test it, full 500Mb/s down and 70Mb/s up, when it does not work i always get the 70Mb/s up never a problem that way.

It's not band specific as does it on 2.4Ghz and both the 5Ghz bands, see it as plain as daylight, and just looked at it and it's synced currently at 816Mb/s and been up 7 and 1/2 hours nearly since i last had to reset. Been going on for months just don't care, phone is for making calls in my case, so not a priority in the least..
