wifi max and meta quest link problem

I have a new wifi max router from sky connected to my PC by an ethernet cable. My Meta Quest 2 link (via link cable) does not now work. Sometimes it connects and then quickly disconnects and sometimes it goes to a blank screen with just the meta quest logo. When I swap the router to my old sky router the link works fine!! I think it might be some security feature in the wifi max router stopping the link. Anybody else had problems like this or can suggest what to do.

The old Hub is called the Sky Hub. I've had it for years!

@Mambo99 With your phone as you have the sky Max hub, you may have to set it to WPA2-PSK from its default WPA3 mode, check that out first, and also take a look to make sure Sky Broadband Shield settings on your account are what you expect them to be since you are on the Turbo charged hub now! If your unit is wired then it does not matter, just do not know how you have it all connected!

Thanks. The WiFi router is connected to PC via ethernet cable so WiFi settings shouldn't matter. The security is default WPA3-T. Don't know about modern router. My old one seems to be working better regarding quest 2 link!

@Mambo99 The only other that may be causing an issue for you is the MAP-T that the max use's kind off a sooped up CGNAT.

I've just tried changing the wi-fi security from WPA3-T to WPA3 and it seems to be working now.
