Most devises not connecting to the pod

We have a poor internet connection around the house so invested in a pod. I understand that we connect to the main Wi-Fi and the pod organises boosts/reconnections but when I look on the sky app only one devise is actually using the pod and the rest of our devises are connected to the main Wi-Fi with 1 bar and intermittent data connection. Any ideas ?

@Nat2231 if you have only just added the pod to a wifi Max system leave it as it takes 24 hours to optimise. You said "invested" hopefully you meant Sky sent you one out as part of the Wifi Max deal as the pods need setting up by Sky and just adding one you bought wont work.

Thanks for replying. I'd heard about the settling in period so I'd left it for a month but still no better, unfortunately. I said invested as it was sent by sky but costs additional fee per month. Could there be any other reason why only 1 devise is connected and is there anything I can do to change this?
ive followed the guidance re the position of the pod etc

Devices should hop between nodes of their own accord, if this isnt happening its often down to the device itself. What devices are you seeing this with?

@Nat2231 you cannot control which device connects tothe pod or the hub but the issue could be a poor connection between the hub and the pod. Try moving it closer to the hub as it needs a good connection to work efficently. If you are still stuck and devices are not working correctly then call Sky and ask if they can areangeca broadband engineer to visit.

I'm in the same situation.. iPhone will connect to pod and laptop in same room won't?? Only two devise connnected to the pod out of 10??

@AYates3097 It's all about the devices and how good THEY are, laptop has a good wi-fi wireless so stronger, see the hub as it's best way especially if it was locked onto it before, not going to release and staying attached to the hub because it thinks it is the best way to go no matter what, even a power off on the laptop, kept well away from the hub and near the pod, when laptop goes back on it goes out and say's wait a minute i can see the hub again off i go, stuff the pod.....

All suggest's pod is not in the good place but then again who knows....

The pod is place in between my office and the lounge! The lounge is where the roter is? Its directly in between about 12 feet from router and 12 feet from my office in the other direction? As you say it may just be referring back to the router all the time? My laptop has fleeted with connecting to the pod but at busy times in the house and a lot of connected devises it refers back to the router where the single is weak??

@AYates3097 You have an sky AI mesh with zero control over it! I have an Asus AI mesh with loads off control and where i want devices to be, it works 95% off the time just perfect then it for the other 5% and that is two (2) device's goes oops, those devices are the TWO Samsung phones, they think they know what is best but boy do they get it wrong... Easy fix, wireless off then back on both phones sorts them out!
