Switching to Sky, advice needed

My current contract is with Virgin and is ending on 20th June. I'm wanting to switch to Sky but am away on holiday until 28th June so there will be no access to our property to install Sky until then. I'm also aware that the box needs to be delivered around 3 days before installation. What should I do? My current thought is to arrange installation for the Tuesday after we get home and try and divert delivery of the box to a neighbour, and just be without Internet for a few days. But can anyone think of another work around? Many thanks

@Di555 Is sky available for the install at your address and when was the time that you never had VM as the BB supplier, or is your current Landline with BT just now. There may be more than a straight swap involved with a VM to Sky installation. You can check with the link to your address what is available.
