Having had very low speeds for nearly 24 hours, and having reset the router with no improvement, the speeds now appear back to normal.

Being very cinical be nature I suspect it has been a Sky fault that they haven't declared.

Every time I've done the sky systems checks, they've all returned a no fault result, even though an independent speed checker returned results no higher than 40Mbpd, and more often than not less than 20.
????????

Having the same issue. Speed is much lower than usual. Late last night they said it was an issue their end and they'd send an engineer out. Had a text this morning to say it was fixed. Poor speed still the same.

I followed their guide as usual on how to "improve your speed" and nothing works.

My speed is now showing 540 Mbps, which is obviously ok. However, it's very frustrating when it ever drops to low speed because sky report that nothing is wrong, and during low speeds things like security cameras etc can't be seen.

Unfortunately mine is still rubbish but Sky claim they are providing me with the minimum required (which they are not) and it will go back to normal within 7 days. Blaming it on the weather etc.

Unfortunately I live in an area where the Openreach lines are old and supposedly will be upgraded by Dec '26. It also means I can only get Sky. No Virgin in my area. My speed is slow at the best of times but now it's even slower.

Sky are a terrible company and I pray for the day I can change provider. It's an insult that I have to pay the same as someone who gets 25 times the speed, and they blame Openreach.
