Android device apps not functioning over sky wifi, fine on data or iOS

This is a very odd issue and I'm stumped as to how to fix it. I moved to sky broadband on the 12th September from BT, the issue began immediately. I have 3 android phones in my household it effects all of them. I also have an ipad, which works perfectly.

The issues are the exact same on all 3 devices. Wifi is connected, the phones web browser works fine, tried chrome and firefox. Apps that want internet access either time out saying you aren't connected to the internet or take 1-3 minutes to load. They include BBC News, Audible, MySky, SkyGo. Twitter/X loads tweets fine, but any media takes 1-3mins. The MySky app takes 1-3mins to load but if you go into any sections that use an embedded browser they load quickly. If I disable wifi and use mobile data, the behaviour is normal. I also tried taking them to my sisters house, where she has BT, they worked fine there too. The same apps work on the ipad without any problems

I have 500mb full fibre on a Sky Hub 4.2.

I've tried the following:

Resetting the Hub to factory default, via the software page and via the reset button on the back of it.

Splitting the 2.4 and 5ghz wifi apart. Disabling the wifi's security entirely.

Disabling the Sky Broadband shield.

On the android phones, setting the privacy setting to use the devices MAC address instead of random, changing their DNS to dns.google.

To me it kinda looks like a firewall issue or something throttling Android specifically, but it's beyond my knowledge.

@SteveBrogan @DCrilly @Carlosm74 there was a similar issue a few months back which affected customers in Yourkshire discussed in this thred which was resolved.

To get this checked out I have escalated your three posts to the Sky team who support the forum who should be in touch soon to offer you a private online chat session to get this sorted. Keep an eye on the forum as if you miss the message just click the brightly coloured chat icon which will be added to the forum pages for you to use.saving a long phone call.

My wife has exactly the same issue. It was fine when we were on BT. Is there a fix for this?
