Extending WiFi from Sky Max router using EE120 Q booster.

I am trying to get my EE120 Sky booster to work to extend the WiFi from our Sky Max router. I can get it to connect using either WiFi or ethernet. All 3 lights come on and stay lit, but it doesn't work as an extender. It seems it broadcasts it's own SSID which we cannot connect to rather than matching WiFi SSID from the router. What am I doing wrong, or is it that th Sky Q booster isn't compatible with Sky Max router?

You would need to subscribe to sky max wall to wall wifi to get the sky max pods

Can't afford the max subscription. So wanted to get extender to work.

P.S. sky max is not even compatible with sky sr210 broadband hubs. They were developed by a company called airties thereas sky max pods use the cloud based plume mesh
