topic Intermittent wifi connection in Broadband

I have intermittent wifi. i say intermittent wifi because my pc is wired to the hub and it works fine with the hard LAN connection.

it's the wifi that keeps dropping off.

the problem is i work on my laptop and phone. and the dropouts has become more frequent recently. there are instances where I am connected, then my device just disconnects from the wifi completely. without so much as an "excuse me" or "sir i need to drop".

this has become quite unbearable.

i have run the diagnostics many times. usually when i fire up the screen, it says there's a problem. then i run the diagnostic, and it says its fine. that's a gigantic poppycock if there ever was one.

i have done resets. hard resets. soft resets. reset of the hardline power. reset of the entire house (i had my electrics sorted). nothing. it improves for a bit, then we're back to ground zero.

it's like that annoying boyfriend who sits around all day, promises to change when you threaten to leave, goes to work for a couple days, then returns to bumming around when he feels comfortable again.

this must change.
