Red LOS light is an external fault, meaning the fibre isn't lit. Unfortunately, resetting the boxes won't have any effect. It's an Openreach job and they are a law unto themselves.

Hi

My broadband went live on the 25/04, it worked for a few hours then the red LOS light on the openreach box came on, phoned sky and the last update they gave me last Thursday is that this can take a further 10 working days to fix (blamed openreach). I work from home and I'm having to tether from my work phone.

I've tried countless resets of both boxes but no joy, any ideas? I'm seriously thinking of calling them today and telling them to cancel the lot and going with someone else

There is nothing you can do as it will be down to Openreach to fix this as there will be an issue on the line somewhere hence the red light. Working from home will not speed them up either.
