Hi there , when I do sky health checker it says I'm connected to the hub however on the tv it says I'm not connected.

Fibre and new hub installed this morning, varuabke speeds all day, now no Internet, two green one orange on sky hub, flashing green light on Openreachwall box which was constant. Sky checker says everything is OK, obviously it is not.

Sky checker now acknowledges there is an outage in my area, noticed another post in Ashford with no Internet.

If you are on full fibre with an optical network terminal box and your Internet is down all the light's on there will be off except the l o s light which will be red loss of signal, in which case the fibre optic cable has a break in it some where, as the fibre optic cable goes straight to your house alone, unlike to old copper cable which goes to the green box somewhere in your area and from there branches to the telephone poll and the to your house and that's when whole areas go off line, and i can give you an example of this last weekend in in the tower hamlets area of dover the Internet went down sky, e e, virgin, b t, except a few of us in the like myself who are on full fibre broadband to the property, we were still on line, everyone on the old copper exchange was off line

Do you have a grey open reach customer service box outside anywhere on your house with a fibre optic cable going in to it and then coming back out and running from there into the house and into the back of the optical network terminal box

this is the o n t box for full fibre that is installed inside the house
