Bedroom dead zone

Bedroom diagonally opposite hub which is downstairs is a big dead zone for wifi. It's not a device issue as 5 or more devices which have been used in that room suffer the same. Have to run one computer with a LAN cable which defeats to points of having super fast fibre with boost. Problem started after fibre installed and hub repositioned at Sky's recommendation near the cable entry point.

For work and Teams calls have to use my phone data in that room (used for WFH as it's empty)

Video call is a waste of time unless on phone data

I also think it's breaching Sky's promise of wifi in every room

Before repositioning hub it was central in the house under the stairs and was MUCH better

I also think it's breaching Sky's promise of wifi in every room

Sky loans wireless booster hardware free under the terms of the 'WiFi Guarantee' element of the legacy 'Broadband Boost' add-on and the 'Enhanced Wall to Wall WiFi Guarantee' part of the 'WiFi Max' subscription supplement: they don't otherwise provide or sell boosters except to resolve issues with Sky Q. Phoning Sky to go through a telephone diagnosis is required to have a booster or pod allocated to the account. Inevitably some Sky booster hardware has leaked onto a certain auction site and elsewhere online, but Sky won't offer support with using these.

Confusingly the default 'Wall to Wall WiFi Guarantee' bundled with all new Sky Broadband orders where Boost or Max is not added by the customer doesn't actually provide booster hardware, and is essentially a sales lead generator for the supplements mentioned above plus a one month broadband subscription refund.

Hi

We had Fibre fitted and since then have had very poor signal in 2 bedrooms which before were ok

At the recommendation of the Sky engineer who fitted the Fibre, the router was relocated from under the stairs which is central to the house, to the far corner of the living room which I think was easier for him and closer to the entry point of the fibre connection to the house.

Can I either get a fix, booster etc for this, or am I better relocated the router back under the stairs but that will involve an additional lengthy cable which might impact speed (but I bet signal will be better in the bedrooms!)

Would having an additional SkyQ mini box in a bedroom help?
