Connecting sky max hub to openreach mk4 socket

I'm trying to connect my new Sky Max Hub box to openreach mk4 socket... but the cable only fits into the phone line side ?
im assuming it should be fitting into the other side for internet like my older current router (as shown in picture)

any help advice greatly appreciated

@KatandEd Yes that is correct, you want and need the cable to be on the left as per your picture. Why do you not try the cable used into the sky router?

I never even thought of that - great idea, I will give that a go! Thanks for the advice I will update the forum tomorrow when I try this.
