I need to know the default username and password for the settings on my sky adsl router when I go to 192.168.0.1

Depending on which hub you have, the password is either sky or your WiFi password.

I have same issue and hjave reset my router but admin - sky and admin -(wifi password) are not working any advice please

@Tony_73 If you have reset the router then you will have to use the Wi-Fi password along with the username of admin to log into the rotuer. This can be changed if you wish to do so once you have logged in.

The Wi-Fi password works as both the Wi-Fi password and your log in password default out of the box or if you reset the router as you have done so.

apoliogies , ive done that and no joy in short

i have reset

opened 192.168.0.1

selected to change wifi channel

tried admin as the username and the wifi password as the password

no joy

tries admin and sky

no joy

forgotten the network on my phone and reconnected agaiin sucessfully with the wifi password

@Tony_73 You are not changing the Wi-Fi channel you are trying to log into the rotuer. How long did you hold the reset button for when you did the reset?

thanks for your help Highlinder but I have just reset agin - pressed reset button for 10 seconds and tried again , no joy

192.168.0.1 gives overview status page , but i want to chnage the wifi band , when i select that i am failing the log in with the earlier details

yep thats them , i used them after i selected forgot network on my mobile and that was fine its just when in the admin page i cant use these creds to log in to make changes

@Tony_73You are typing in admin in all small letters and not with a capital A. When you type in the creds do the page just refresh? What broswer are you using?

Its a pop uo saying sign in to access this site

im using edge

no caps have tried cut and past and typing too many times defo not a typo error

@Tony_73 When you are doing a router reset and holding the button for 10 seconds does the power light on the from start flashing at all?

yes and loss of network for around 5 mins while it all resets
