Download speed keeps slowing

Afternoon everyone!

Over the last few days my broadband will suddenly slow to a crawl for a few minutes and the pick up speed again. Sky always seems to report a speed of around 20mbps but other ckeckers (including Ookla) record speeds of anywhere between 1 and 15 mbps. I've done all the usual checking cables, resetting router etc but the problem persists.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
