Your broadband won't be ceased (because that's actually illegal) but alternative digital arrangements may have to be made if the national FTTP rollout hasn't reached your address before December 2026 when PSTN (analogue service) is due to end. Copper itself will remain in use as a digital carrier for many years.

As @cookiemonsteruk indicates, a connection from a cabinet is by definition FTTC. When it's directly from a telephone exchange it's ADSL.

Notices are popping up about internet service providers no longer offering broadband over copper and I wondered whether the copper based ADSL service from my fibre cabinet outside is in danger of no longer being supported.

Adsl refers to copper to the exchange whilst copper from the cabinet/part fibre is vdsl . If you are on either you will remain on that service until full fibre is available in your area

Could you enter your full address in the link below and post the table and notes after removing you address from the image

thanks for the link cookiemonsteruk! I believe the issues getting fibre into the flats is to do with cable routing but hopefully I'll figure out a solution is the next few months.

Your building is served by very good FTTC, not ADSL. Whether FTTP arrives is down to both location and successful negotiations between Openreach and the building owners.

It appears you are on a 80Mbps line with a high guarantee of around 67Mbps with no full fibre.

From your point of view the only difference would be higher speeds available by full fibre as opposed to reliability when fttp arrives
