Cannot connect to network using tp link archer ac1750 s

Hey folks,

I don't know what goes wrong, I tried to connect my fiber network from ont box directly to tp link archer ac1750 and following the instructions for PPPoE and I get connecting .... but it never connects!

I tried using fixed IP, dynmainc and everything and not working!

I used the sky router as a bridge between the ont and the tp link router and it works! but I want to connect directly to to tp link archer ac1750!

Any idea what goes wrong

@Pato11 Your wan connection type for sky is not PPPoE, what other options on your router do you have?

These are the options (Ignore Internet port is unplugged as the screenshot was taken when it was disconnected)

@Pato11 Take it auto detect not doing much, so Dynamic IP may be your next try, Asus is way easier for connection support to sky, but Tp_link not, check out the Tp-Link forum for any suggestion to getting connected.
